Oregon Rule Co. is a measuring tools manufacturing company that has been in business since 1981. The company originally provided special order adhesive-back rules to equipment manufacturers. Since then, various rule styles have been added to the catalog so that over 2000 different selections are now available from stock.

Oregon Rule Co. manufactures a comprehensive line of measuring tools that offer economy, convenience and versatility to people in the industrial, commercial and consumer markets.

The company also manufactures custom projects that are tailored to customer specifications.

Tools include: Forensics Products, Staff Gauges, Pipe Calipers, Fishing Rulers, Height and Security Rulers, Protractors, Stainless Steel Rulers, Workbench Rulers, Calendar Date Finders, Roll Tapes, Floor Tapes, and many more.

Several uses include: Industrial equipment for display of adjustments and/or calibrations, Layout tables, Work benches, Tool box lids, Cutting tables, Office desk tops, Counter tops, Sewing machines, Fishing rules on the side of a boat to measure your catch, and countless others.

While some products are sold through distributors, many special purpose rules are sold directly to the end user such as GE Healthcare, Nike IHM, Boeing, Ford Motor Co., General Mills, Eastman Kodak, Tesla, etc.

Oregon Rule Co. has expanded operations to target items for the consumer marketplace as well as the Forensics Industry.

“The ruler has a durable finish and I’m very impressed with the adhesive. It was a lot thicker than I expected for a roll up adhesive backed ruler.
I have a similar ruler from another brand and it was very thin. This one as it turns out is so thick that boards easily hang up on it as they pass over. I should have ( and likely will) routed a channel into the surface for it. I will have to re purchase because the adhesive is so strong its ripping the woodgrain off with it when I try to remove it.”
